About the Job
ARMC seeking a skilled and reliable Volumetric Concrete Driver in the New Braunfels & San Antonio area. The driver will be responsible for operating and maintaining a volumetric concrete mixer truck, delivering concrete to various job sites, and ensuring the highest level of service to our customers. Drivers will be in newer late-model trucks (2024-2025). 

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 an hour (pay based on verifiable experience).

Minimum Requirements:
  • Valid Texas driver's license with class B CDL.
  • Knows and obeys all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Rules.

Requirements:
  • Repetitive motion with hand, wrist, feet, head, and shoulder.
  • The ability to work outdoors in a diverse environment.
  • Work in congested and remote areas.
  • Work while standing or sitting for several hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50+ pounds.
  • Reach, bend, and stoop while performing work.
  • Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewmen and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/ objects to ensure safe coordination of movement.

Duties:
  • Safely operate a DOT volumetric concrete mixer truck.
  • Experience operating a volumetric concrete mixer truck is required.
  • Basic knowledge of concrete mixing, testing and pouring techniques.
  • Deliver concrete to job sites in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performs daily pre trips and post trips and alerts mechanics of any defects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees both in person and electronically.
  • Will be required to complete paperwork and electronic submission in a timely manner.
  • Will occasionally be required to perform other logistical tasks in both CDL and Non CDL vehicles.
  • Position will require daily cleaning and of truck with a weekly descaling.
  • Will be required to operate all equipment necessary to safely and efficiently load trucks with water, sand, grave, and cement powder.
